If needed for long distance casts, this basket is a must because it has out-
standing casting characteristics.
A comparison: In the back our Feeder baskets and in front a standard
feeder basket: the shiny material reflects the light, especially on sunny
days, and scares off the fish.

Our waters are becoming cleaner than ever, and thus also clearer.
Therefore feeder anglers are increasingly confronted with the problem of
the shooing effect of normal wire baskets, in particular in waters where
fishing is under high pressure. Some companies have coated their baskets
in black gloss varnish to counteract this. However, tests run by Michael
and his team revealed that this gloss varnish reflects the light, especially
on sunny days, and scares off the fish.
When matt varnish was used the fish no longer displayed any distrust.
After numerous failures we finally found the ultimate varnish: matt and
impact-resistant on the baskets!
Michael finally selected a dark army green. Videos taken with underwa-
ter cams showed that the fish clearly regard baskets with this varnish as a
part of their natural environment. In tests comparing these camouflage
caps with unvarnished and/or painted with glossy varnish, the camou-
flage caps were clearly in front. The clearer the water, or the sunnier the
weather is, the greater is their superiority.
