The release clip is available in a softer version (green) and a harder rubber
(red). Depending on the individual situation the clip can be changed ac-
cordingly by hand. Each 5 green as well as 5 red clips are included as well
as a short manual.
The principal item is the worm-shaft gear with a retarded stroke. This
means that the rotor turns significantly more slowly than a normal worm-
shaft and this results in an outstanding, cross-wise line lay. Even wet,
very thin braided lines don’t cut in.
The
Lazy Rotor system
automatically fixes the rotor in place as soon as
the bail folds down, so that it does not inadvertently turn during the cast.
However it is not completely blocked, so that fine adjustments are still
possible before the cast.
The
Bail Fix System
enables the bail to click in when it is turning over,
thus preventing it from inadvertently folding down during the cast.
Still equipped with the rubber-buffered and spring-loaded Safety Line
Clip.
We offer a further spool with a greater line capacity.
From now on all Masterpiece 8550 LF reels are equipped with the re-
lease clip as well as 10 spare clips. For details on the release clips

ATTENTION: Customers who have an "old" Masterpiece 8550 LF with-
out release clip we offer the possibility to purchase a suitable spool
with release clip!
Our new revolutionary
LINE Clip
, protected by utility patent, is the guar-
antee for maximum safety for the line during the cast limitation. In addi-
tion, when the fish bites, it releases the line so that the brake is immedi-
ately working. Losing bigger fish when the line clip is used to limit casts is
therefore a thing of the past.

Tip
:
