As with the preceding series, Matze focused uncompromisingly on the
practical aspect rather than on “superfluous gimmicks”. Direct quote by
Matze: “Preferably 6 high-class bearings rather than 12 lousy ball bea-
rings. That sort of thing is just window dressing and has no business here!
„In his opinion other indispensable criteria are crosswise line lay for opti-
mised casting and a precision drag. Oh yes, even if it is not practice-ori-
ented, the reels can still look good!
